capturing that place takes quite some time
lucky me, i've got a pretty patient husband
but admitting, it's not ideal ;-)

so we made our deal
we split up for a part of the visit

me, losing sense of time, using my camera
searching for images that will do

my better half hopping into the local platter shop
searching for and listening to his favorite music
expanding his long play record collection

and so we end up
both happy
drinking coffee
telling our stories

while waiting for my husband
in the end of the afternoon
i thought the record shop

because half of my family lives there :-)

it is pretty famous
because of its typical dutch center (buildings, canals, etc),
historically very interesting, (painter vermeer, association with the dutch royal family)
world wide known delft blue pottery (better known as delftware)
and lots of students because of the university of technology

walking the center streets
inviting me
to capture what i see and discover.

may be not always typical delft
sometimes more dutch-city-stuff
or even any-city-stuff

but one thing is for sure
the city inspires me

so you can view the places i took the pictures
(only for those who are curious of course :-))
